About the work

The Continuum sculptures explore ideas around humanity’s belonging and place through the collision of natural and human-made materials. Juxtaposing stone with glass the suspended neon evokes notions around the fragility of our brief existence in the vast span of deep time. A human intervention forces itself to exist, a lineal, vibrant energy that will eventually extinguish while the stone continues.
